As with any good quality wood furniture pine needs a little care and a few simple precautions to keep it looking its best.

Never use abrasive or waterbased cleaning agents on a waxed surface. |

Your pine furniture will need to be waxed occasionally using good wax polish to enrich its appearence and help to build a protective finish. |

To remove marks on waxed furniture, try using '0000' grade wire wool and then rewax. |
|
To ensure smooth running of drawers and door opening, put furniture on level floors, suppported by wedges if nescessary. |
|
Do not place furniture too close to radiators or heating ducts as extremes of temperature or moisture can cause furniture to swell or shrink |
|
Keep wardrobe doors closed when not in use to avoid stress to the timber. |
